I prefer the BBC, its the most objective out of all the news programs.
Randy,since you took some interest in Beck’s rally I thought you might be able to
answer when did the US lose its’ honor. It wasn’t personal.As to Americans being stupid, When you see people saying they want the goverment
to stay out of medicare, It makes me sad.
Or unemployment insurance is an entitlement, when it is insurance that we all pay for.
Or getting rid of Social Security, the birther movement, Sharon Angle, Sarah Palin.
The stupidity goes on and on.
I believe that stupidity and common sense are defined by the point of view of the observer. What I believe is just plain common sense; you may believe to be stupidity. I try to stay away from those terms when possible. I have my opinion and you have yours. I will respect you for your opinion even if I totally disbelieve it. I will do my best to articulate my point of view and as with anyone I would try to persuade you to understand and adopt my opinion, but I have found that starting out in an insulting way will do little for my cause. May I be so bold as to suggest that if you desire to further your cause and teach people about a different point of view, you may want to approach people with respect and understanding. To teach someone you must first understand them, and then you will be able to decide the best approach.
