It’s been in foreclosure at least 3 times that I know of, but Kayode Peter and his cousin Edak Esau Eyo, got out of it - somehow.  I just wonder -  for people who don’t have jobs that pay enough to afford a $699K mortgage (Kayode is a preacher and Edak was/is a nurse, but I found out that he/she lost their nursing license), someone else must have put up the money to get them out of foreclosure.

Regardless, as long as NPG continues to keep a P.O. Box here in Welcome, as long Steve Scott remains its attorney, as long as Kayode Peter lives in Mason Springs, as long as Bill Murray (Construction Resolutions in LaPlata at 113 Burning Bush Place) is NPG’s “Project Manager”, and as long as they have a “blog”, I will continue to keep a close eye on them.

I will continue to ask questions at Facebook.  However, no one from the organization will reply to any of my questions, which should be answered because of their tax-exempt 501(c)(3) status.

I will not write to their P.O. Box 370 because I don’t want them to find out my address which I’d have to give to them so they can reply.  There’s no reason whatsoever why they can’t answer my questions on FB.  They may be on the verge of collapse because there haven’t been any new posts at their blog for 3 weeks, BUT you just never know.  I’m convinced that there are Nigerian financial “interests”  involved, and/or Kenneth Copeland Ministries.

It could even be more sinister, with WSG, the paramilitary training center planned for Nanjemoy - hey, everything must remain on the table… one never knows.

Uh, you know with a name and a simple google search it’s not hard to find someone’s home address.

It’s not exactly private information, it’s all a matter of public record.

Yes, I know. I guess I’m reluctant to just give it to them.  Anyway, maybe I’ll send a letter to Steve Scott’s office - I can’t find an email address for him or his office.  That’s weird isn’t it?

Here are the questions I’ve asked on FB: (the first question is about their banquet on 9/11/11 where they were initially charging $100/per person, but received a “corporate donation” so it could be “free”).

Who provided the funds for this? Cleaners of America, Kenneth Copeland Ministries, Construction Resolutions, Nigerian “investors”?

What are the future “plans” for the “prayer garden” organization? Do those “plans” include the RESORT complex in Welcome?

NPG’s “blog” hasn’t had any new posts for 3 weeks!! Could it be that NPG’s attorney has advised it to just back off a bit, so its TAX EXEMPT status isn’t put in jeopardy????????

I think I’ve figured it out - Reuben Collins “shares” office space with NPG’s attorney Steve Scott.  Steve Scott has probably advised NPG to drop FB because it could reflect badly on Collins while he’s Commissioner????  IF so, THAT won’t shut this blonde up!!

Any chance the state investigated NPG and came down on them?  I’m thinking the whole concept is in freefall.  No money; no donors; now, no blog, no nothing.  I don’t think Scott cares a fig what happens to NPG—he’s their lawyer, but have they had to use him for anything?  It’s not like they’re actively soliciting funds and getting ready to break ground and even need a lawyer.  If they had an outside donor like a mega-church who saw a good investment, that could’ve fallen to the wayside, too.  Why would they want to invest in something where the originators don’t have backing or probably not even a good credit rating?

I think the hand-writing’s on the wall that this “project” won’t fly.  But keep your teeth sunk in just in case they resurrect themselves.  I know you will grin

Excellent seahorse!!!

I will definitely continue to “monitor” NPG and its “sponsors”, i.e. Cleaners of America, Construction Resolutions, and several others.  It just doesn’t sit well with me or with many others, that NPG continues to claim that Welcome is its address which is just a P.O. Box and that Kayode Peter and his cousin, Edak Eyo, who have faced foreclosure several times over the past few years, continue to live along Mason Springs Road, in Pisgah which is just about 4 miles away (as the crow flies) from the property where the “prayer garden” would have been (and possibly could be - somday? ).

As long as Steve Scott remains NPG’s attorney (advisor?) and as long as Kayode Peter lives here and as long as there’s a post office box, I will continue to keep a close eye on it, as will a few others who would be affected by this “resort complex”....

Thanks SO much for your questions, ideas and support - it’s VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!  Please let me know if you hear or think of anything re: the prayer garden RESORT!!

POSTED AT GUIDESTAR (BY ROGER)

——————————

November 28, 2011

The National Prayer Garden is nothing more than a BLOG and LEGALLY CANNOT solicit or accept ANY charitable donations via its BLOG!

There haven’t been ANY NEW POSTS OR COMMENTS at the Prayer Garden’s BLOG for over a month AND IT NO LONGER APPEARS ON FACEBOOK! - that could mean that: (1) it is no longer in operation OR (2) it is reorganizing.

The National Prayer Garden lists its “physical address” as Welcome MD - BUT the “prayer garden” organization does NOT OWN ANY PROPERTY IN WELCOME!

It only has a P.O. Box—WHO is paying the P.O. BOX rental fee?

—“Pastor” Kayode Peter portrays himself as a Christian, BUT at the Spokeo people search site, he is listed as a MUSLIM- not that this makes any difference regarding the “Prayer Garden”—BUT it IS indicative of the many LIES the organization has told, starting with PASTOR PETER HIMSELF!!

~~ WHY IS NPG STILL A TAX-EXEMPT 501(c)(3) with the IRS?

——Shouldn’t the IRS be informed that the NPG consists of nothing more than a BLOG???

~~Whatever happened with the $33,750.00 that was “donated” to the NPG, which NPG’s attorney, Steve Scott, is supposed to be holding for NPG??

~~ ~Were any “donations” used to help Edak Eyo and “Pastor” Kayode Peter purchase their $699K house at 6380 Mason Springs Road in Charles County, Maryland? (Maryland Tax Assessment)

~~~Is it possible these funds were provided by “corporate interests” such as:
- Construction Resolutions (owned by NPG’s Project Manager, Bill Murray)
- Cleaners of America (owned by NPG’s Elder Paul Mederos and Sister Angela Mederos)
- The Faux Group (owned by NPG’s Land Planner - Patricia Faux)
- Scott Law Group (owned by NPG’s attorney, Steve Scott AND for which a County Commissioner is “of counsel” )
- Jim Whitehead (NPG’s Civil Engineer) of ATCS PLC
- Kenneth Copeland Ministries
——- Doesn’t it appear SUSPICIOUS who these"corporate” supporters are, and WHY they “support” this resort complex???
~~~ Is it possible that NIGERIAN interests/investors are involved??

~~~ IF NPG is still planning to construct its RESORT COMPLEX (under the guise of “religion” ) in the future, NPG would have:
- - to purchase the land (currently priced at OVER $1.5M),
—get the ZONING CHANGED from the current Agriculture zoning,
—request COUNTY & STATE PUBLIC HEARINGS,
—obtain the necessary permits from the STATE AND COUNTY,
—UPGRADE the State and County ROADS (MD Rt. 6 & Gunston Road) leading to the location,
—install a sewage treatment plant AND MAINTAIN IT to prevent sewage overflows, AND in the event of a sewage overflow, NPG would be held legally responsible for cleaning up the Nanjemoy Creek.
~~ NPG would ALSO be required to obtain a STATE PERMIT for WATER withdrawals, AND establish an “escrow” account to pay for new wells for residents with private wells in the area who may experience water supply difficulties/shortages because of the THOUSANDS OF GALLONS of groundwater the RESORT COMPLEX would withdraw DAILY for the hotel, lazy river and golf course!!
~~~WHERE WOULD NPG OBTAIN THE MONEY, NOT ONLY TO BUY THE LAND AND BUILD THE RESORT AND UPGRADE THE ROADS LEADING TO IT—BUT WHERE WOULD IT OBTAIN THE MONEY TO MAINTAIN THE FACILITY, INCLUDING THE SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT?

~~~ Operating as a “religious” 501(c)(3) organization (which is HIGHLY questionable), does NOT EXEMPT IT FROM UPGRADING THE ROADS, OBTAINING THE NECESSARY STATE AND COUNTY PERMITS, OR FROM ADHERING TO STATE AND LOCAL ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS!!
Ask yourself, does this sound as though it would be an innocent “prayer garden” OR a resort complex that would financially benefit a few interested “investors”??
ISN’T IT INTERESTING THAT NO ONE FROM THE NATIONAL PRAYER GARDEN ORGANIZATION WILL ADDRESS/ANSWER ANY OF THE QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS RAISED HERE?
THE EVIDENCE IS CLEAR—- THE NATIONAL PRAYER GARDEN IS A HOAX AND A SCAM!!
Thanks Hydrilla, for your interest!!  I will continue to “monitor” them as long they are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization!
The 340 acres that NPG wanted to purchase (but never did) is AGAIN FOR SALE! The asking price is $2M and Baldus is the realtor.
We must remain vigilant in the event any member of NPG’s “Dream Team” buys it in order to resurrect NPG’s plans in the future!!!
I assume that is good news.  But you are right.  We all need to stay on top of this.  Thanks again for keeping it on the radar.
I don’t see any of those DreamTeamers wanting to cough up $2 million for a scam like NPG.  Sure, they’d go along with the scammers if they had been successful, but they weren’t (thank you recession), but right on for staying vigilant ‘cuz ya’ just never know….
There’s a new “church” in town: Redeeming Life Ministries International at 7845 Port Tobacco Road, Port Tobacco, Maryland 20677
I wonder if there’s any connection with the National Prayer Garden and/or Kayode Peter???
Remember Kayode Peter only lives a few miles away from this!!!
It sounds like a church on 5 acres had gone into foreclosure and then was bought by this minister husband and wife team.  Probably no connection to NPG.  I think that scam died on the vine due to no money.
