If you go to the Welcome/Nanjemoy blog, it looks as though a “veiled threat” may have been issued.  The writer is “nemrod” but I think it’s “pastor” Kayode Peter.  We are looking into it….

Or not so veiled.  Calling folks “racist rednecks” because they don’t want a NPG in their backyard sounds like the only racist is the person who wrote that post.  Is this really how a supposedly “Man of God who has a Vision” acts?  The person who wrote that post did Kayode and the NPG no favors.

Absolutely seahorse!!  This person sounds more like a nutjob rather than a “man of God”.  Admin has removed all his posts EXCEPT for the 1st one that contains the “threat”... we may need it in the future IF NPG decides to continue to pursue this project.  It’s really good “evidence” if needed!!

At the NPG website, “Bill” is on Facebook and “likes” NPG…well, Mr. Bill is none other than BILL MURRAY, NPG’s Project Manager and developer!  I guess he sees MILLIONS of $$$$ dancing in his head!!

Sounds to me like Peter Kayode elevated the basic Nigerian email scam and suited it to his purposes:

ONLY unlike the above scam email, Peter has no money to invest in the NPG.  He’s looking to have his bill footed by the taxpayers of CC and those who fall for his line of BS.

Not only will he try to get the taxpayers to pay for the road upgrades to Gunston Road and a portion of Route 6 at the Gunston Road entrance (which will cost MILLIONS) , but I wonder where the $100K PER MONTH is coming from to supposedly pay for the land? 

According to the Office of the Maryland Secretary of State, NPG HAS ZERO ASSETS AND ZERO REVENUE, but Steve Scott’s office told the Indy, they have $33,750.00 - in any case, NPG has millions of more dollars to raise, and from whom would they get it?

Maybe from the Nigerian government or Nigerian “investors”?  Corporate “investors”, such as Disney?  Televangelists, i.e. Kenneth Copeland Ministries (which is world wide!), or from “investors” such as Bill Murray, Cleaners of America, Larry Abell, and/or Steve Scott???

All of the above stand to make millions from this “resort” complex!!

I see on Bill Murray’s FB page that his daughters’ married name is REARDON.  I wonder if this is John Reardon’s son??

I ask this because John Reardon was the former director of the Economic Development Commission until he resigned a couple or so years ago.

Just seems to be more than just a coincidence that Bill Murray’s daughter is married to a Reardon….

Why is Construction Resolutions (a LaPlata based development firm, owned by the Prayer Garden’s Project Manager-  Bill Murray) involved with an organization that wants to build a resort to be located in a AC zoned area, without municipal water or sewer facilities?

The relationship between Construction Resolutions and the National Prayer Garden is much too close for comfort!! Looks to me as though Construction Resolutions is hoping that it will be awarded the contract to build this resort, as is the Prayer Garden’s attorney, Mr. Stephen Scott, who just happens to “share” a law office with a Charles County Commissioner!!

Obviously, Steve Scott and Reuben Collins don’t see where this could be a problem!!  As we’ve all said before, IT’S THE PERCEPTION AND APPEARANCE OF IMPROPRIETY that people such as myself don’t like!  It’s reminiscent of the 50’s, 60’s, & 70’s when contractors (including attorneys for those contractors),  with special interests and possible future “projects”,  worked hand in hand with one another - this situation REEKS of those times!

THIS is something that we should ALL keep a close eye on!!!

It sure looks that way doesn’t it?  AND that’s not the worst of it since Steve Scott is also a member of the PGM Advisory Board, which has been mentioned before here at the Duck.  Unfortunately, Scott has not been removed, nor has he done the honorable thing -  resign from this Advisory Board.  It’s very troubling that Mr. Scott continues to serve on this Board which gives him the opportunity to make “recommendations” that could be beneficial to Mr. Murray (Construction Resolutions’ owner and NPG’s Project Manager)  and to NPG.  It also provides him the opportunity to possibly acquire “inside” information that could benefit Construction Resolutions/NPG!  I’ll readily admit that this is complete speculation on my part,  BUT if I’m speculating, you can bet many others are too!!

Most of the “supporters” of this organization look to be from other countries, or are businesses that stand to make lots of money on this project. Why are so many people from other nations involved in this, such as Pastor Kayode Peter who is a native of Nigeria? What’s their real reason for being involved with this? Maybe the Nigerian government is using Kayode Peter as a conduit? Maybe Bill Murray and the Mederos couple are “using” the Prayer Garden as a “front” in order to bypass certain regulations??? Where is the money coming from to fund this organization? How come no one from the organization, including its attorney Steve Scott WON’T answer any questions pertaining to the funding of this organization?

Also, since Construction Resolutions (Project Manager Bill Murray’s firm) is located in a RESIDENTIAL neighborhood, Hickory Ridge in LaPlata, I wonder where all the construction equipment and materials are kept?  I wonder if Facchina has any involvement?  What about the $33K in “donations”?  Where DID that $100K for the deposit on the land come from? 

Too many questions surround this so-called “religious” organization, yet NEITHER Bill Murray nor Steve Scott will provide any answers…. strange isn’t it?????
