According to the IRS, if you use your own automobile for business, you can write-off so much for mileage except for your commute to and from your home to your place of business.  It is not fair that some County and School personnel use their County provided cars for their commute to and from their homes without having to pay anything for that privilege. It’s bad enough that the public is paying absurd wages for many school administrators and then have insult added to that by providing free transportation to the same people for their commute to and from their homes to their place of work.
