Trevor J. Shea, 19 of Mechanicsville, was recently indicted by a federal grand jury sitting in Indianapolis with production of child pornography. This follows an investigation by the United States Postal Inspection Service, the Brownsburg Police Department, the Indiana State Police and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

Pending trial, Shea is on home detention and electronic monitoring. An indictment is only a charge and is not evidence of guilt. A defendant is presumed innocent and is entitled to a fair trial at which the government must prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
