Detectives Continue to Follow Leads from May 2009 Case
Charles County Sheriff’s investigators, continuing their investigation into the theft of a trailer which contained two race cars, a golf cart and a motor scooter, are asking for the public’s help in closing the case. Detectives have followed a number of leads since the May 2009 theft and are hoping the release of photos depicting the cars and trailer will generate additional tips critical to locating the property and identifying the suspects. In addition, Charles County Crime Solvers and the Charles County Sheriff’s Office are offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for the tip that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspects.
Between May 27, 2009 – May 28, 2009 the suspects stole a white, 32 foot Classic trailer from the 12300 block of Waldorf Business Square in Waldorf. The trailer contained a yellow, Ken Keir dragster with “Fancy Vans” written on the side, a purple dragster with yellow and red markings, a golf cart, a purple scooter and other racing apparatus.
