Charles County Commissioners Announce Director of Utilities

The Charles County Commissioners and Charles County Administrator, Paul Comfort, today announced the appointment of Mr. William A. Shreve,
Sr., as the Director of the Charles County Department of Utilities. Mr. Shreve currently serves as the Acting Director of the Utilities Department under a contract with Maryland Environmental Service.

Mr. Shreve’s Acting Director term began July 23, 2007. He has worked with the existing Division Chiefs as well as other Utilities and County Government Staff to effect an orderly transition into this new position. He will begin serving in the capacity of Director on Monday, August 18, 2008.
