Meeting of the Bryans Road Improvement Committee to be Held Aug. 26
The Charles County Commissioners are pleased to announce that the Charles County Department of Planning and Growth Management will hold a meeting of the Bryans Road Improvement Committee on Tuesday, Aug. 26, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Potomac Branch Library, 3225 Ruth B. Swann Dr., Indian Head. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
The purpose of this meeting is to brief BRIC members and the Bryans Road community on a concept plan for the Bryans Road Town Center. The concept plan will help the County to implement the Bryans Road-Indian Head Sub-Area Plan through the creation of a town common or community open space, in the area of the Bryans Road Shopping Center. In addition, as part of the concept plan, greatly needed stormwater management improvements will be incorporated. Charles County would like to get feedback from BRIC members and the public on what amenities they would like to see as part of this community open space.
- 1. · Gee, isn't this a bit premature? No serious discussion about improving Bryan's Road could really be broached until more information about the CCC is obtained. After all, no decision has been made regarding the final phase of the CCC...or has it??

apparently you can't have one without the other.
