This is in response to the article, “Appeals board broke open meeting law” [Maryland Independent, Feb. 8].
Oh, Mark Mudd. Your remark, “Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in a while,” was so disrespectful.
But if that’s the worst thing you can say about the people of Nanjemoy, we don’t mind.
Squirrels are smart, resourceful, persistent and very agile. And we have lots more “acorns” in our cache. We will proudly wear the “S” for squirrel on our foreheads.

Back to that airport. The illegal transfer from private personal use, to corporate commercial use without a public hearing.
If WSG continues on with its quest, it will be up against a massive amount of opposition and exposure.
That should have already been done as far as I'm concerned.
The question about the process that took place in 2009 is really moot since the citizens won in court.
Please remember that this is not a Najemoy issue; this is a county issue.
What and when did a Maryland Agency authorize the land clearing for the second strip ?
May I consider myself an honorary blind squirrel?
If I can donate to keep Florida Rock out of Douglas Point, I can work to keep WSG out of Nanjemoy. We've come a long way!
