“It’s just an indescribable, unfathomable, heartbreaking tragedy,” said Testoni of Silver Spring. “What can be done to help people, to give them hope? And how we can we help people who are struggling in so many ways?”
Two Gaithersburg nonprofits that helped Gaffney through the strains of foreclosure are working in his honor to ensure other families escape the same fate.
