Who are the real constituents of Steny Hoyer?

I would like to commend the Maryland Independent for printing the excellent article, “Campaign cash rolling in for Hoyer ‘10 race,” on Oct. 28.
The article compares and contrasts the fundraising efforts of the three candidates who have filed to run for the 5th District congressional seat in Southern Maryland. Most political insiders have known for years that the longer Hoyer has remained in Congress, the less interested he has become in Maryland political issues and the more interested he has become in standing with the party in support of a partisan agenda.
